Cedars Martin, the merger Sixth Form of The Cedars Academy and Martin High School in Birstall, has announced the addition of the Level 3 Cambridge Extended Certificate in Sport and Physical Activity to their Post-16 Curriculum from September.

Head of Sixth Form Kath Sedgley said of the announcement: “This is a really exciting move for us. There’s a huge love of sport within our local community, so we’re thrilled to be able to meet those demands and extend our subject offer”.

With applications to Post-16 study closing at the end of January, the decision comes at a crucial time for Year 11 decision-makers across Leicestershire. And for those aspiring to pursue sport at Post-16 level in the local area, Paris 2024 just got a little bit closer.
