Sixth form students celebrate a stunning collection of A-level results

We are incredibly proud of our brilliant Year 13 students, who have achieved another fantastic set of A-level results, with a 100% pass rate and an average grade of a B- across the entire cohort.

Amongst the results, five students achieved a straight set of A*/As, with strong success enjoyed in English, where all students either achieved or exceeded their target grade.

Elsewhere, a significant proportion of students earned places at prestigious Russell Group universities. Dhairya, for example, can look forward to an exciting new chapter at the University of Oxford studying Biomedical Engineering, after achieving three A*s in Biology, Maths and Physics.

With one A* and two As, Evan is off to study Medicine at Imperial College London, whilst Lauren is excited to undertake a Midwifery Leadership course at the University of Leicester, after achieving three distinction classifications in triple Health and Social Care.

Gianna, meanwhile, is travelling even further. After a few months travelling around Europe, in February, she will undertake an international course at Les Roches in Switzerland!

These results demonstrate the advantages of smaller class sizes. Cedars Martin is an environment where students are not only able to receive tailored, one-to-one support from subject experts, but also work in a way that stimulates greater independent thinking, a skill that will assist them as they make the transition from sixth form to university and higher-level apprenticeship courses.

On these results, Head of Sixth Form, Kelly Cragg said: “We are so proud of the work and dedication of our cohort this year.

“Our students are celebrating a fantastic set of results, which reflect the amount of revision, additional work and effort they have put in.

“These results will open doors for them and set them up for the next step in their journey. We have students going to University, apprenticeships and the forces,” she continued.

“We wish them well and are thankful to have helped them fulfil their ambitions.”
