Cedars Martin Open Evening 2022

Cedars Martin Sixth Form, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust, recently held their annual open evening to give prospective parents and students an opportunity to learn more about the school. 

Parents were invited to attend information sessions in the hall with Principal Mr Rolfe and Head of Sixth Form Ms Sedgley, on subjects ranging from how to apply, how Cedars Martin differs from other sixth forms, bursaries available to them, and what opportunities are available at Cedars Martin. 

Our student ambassadors talked about their own experiences with prospective students, enabling them to form an idea of life at our sixth form. 

A highlight of the evening was the live crime scene performance from our Drama students, showcasing their talent and dedication to the subject. Prospective students were also given the opportunity to find out more about the enrichment opportunities on offer at Cedars Martin, with the trust-wide ski trip being a firm favourite!  

Following our open evening, we were delighted to offer A level taster sessions to prospective students, giving them the chance to gain a deeper understanding of their chosen subjects, allowing them to make an informed decision when choosing their post-16 options. 

Applications to join our sixth form in September 2023 are now open via PS16. The deadline for applications in midnight on Tuesday 31st January 2023.
