The Addams Family Musical

Having previously staged productions of Shrek and School of Rock, this year, our 105 pupil participants – ranging from Year 7 through to sixth form – took on The Addams Family, performing to an audience of 750 across a three-night run.

The performance was the culmination of an entire term’s worth of work, with auditions and initial rehearsals beginning in September. Pupils worked exceptionally hard to memorise lines, songs and dance routine – working both inside and outside of school. The end result was an incredibly polished and professional performance that wowed all in attendance.

“Great show! Great talent all round,” one attendee remarked, while another proclaimed it was the “best performance I’ve ever watched.”

Owning to popular demand, on Monday 16^th December, the team performed their show again, inviting children from local primary schools and learners from Endeavour to come and watch.

It was incredibly satisfying to see our pupils reap the rewards of months of hard work and dedication. Our annual musical is the highlight of the year for many of our pupils, allowing them to showcase their exceptional talents on the big stage.
